May 20, 2021: According to the report of BaaghiTV, Punjab Provincial Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan has openly criticized Jahangir Tareen’s policy of indecision.
Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan said that he has a good relationship with Jahangir Tareen but forming a separate group is against party discipline. Chauhan said he has been in the party for 14 years and has many times felt that he has been treated unfairly but he still disagrees with Jahangir Tareen on the issue of group formation. He said Jahangir Tareen should now decide whether to stay in the party or not, PTI government is present in Punjab and will remain for the next 2 years, but these people need to decide whose side they are on in reference to the finance bill.
Chauhan added he knew Jehangir Tareen will make the right choice and will not make any mistake, but he also thinks political blackmailing is not appropriate and Imran Khan will not be convinced through blackmail. He said there should be clear and transparent inquiries whenever a scandal or allegation emerges for any member of the party.
Meanwhile, Jahangir Tareen said that last night the media gave the impression that maybe him and his supporters are leaving the PTI which is completely wrong. He said they were and will remain a part of the PTI. He said the group also met Prime Minister Imran Khan and hoped that Barrister Ali Zafar would soon investigate the matter and inform the Prime Minister.
