Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan denies the rumours of Saad Rizvi’s release

Lahore, 20th April: Provincial Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan has given a statement regarding the release of the leader of the banned religious party.

According to the report of Baaghi TV, Punjab Provincial Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan denied the release of TLP Chief Saad Rizvi.

Chohan said that some media houses were giving false news of Saad Rizvi’s release. Saad Rizvi’s release will be implemented after completing the full protocol procedures.

Baaghi TV reported earlier that people on social media are sharing messages about the release of Saad Rizvi from jail and has reached home. According to netizens, Saad Rizvi will address the sit-in at Lahore’s Yateem Khana Chowk today.

Meanwhile, thousands of Labbaik workers have gathered at the sit-in venue chanting their party slogans. They demand to lift the ban on their party and release their chief Saad Hussain Rizvi immediately.

TLP workers are all prepared to launch a long march towards the federal capital. They say if the resolution is not passed by the National Assembly, then there is a possibility of a march towards Islamabad.

It is to be noted that TL chief Saad Rizvi was arrested on April 12 from Scheme Mor Chowk Lahore. Soon after party workers took to the streets to protest against the government’s move.
