Nov 12, 2021: The FBR website has stopped working at present after what appears to be another cyber attack.
There has been a cyber attack on FBR website, after which FBR website has stopped working, citizens are facing problems due to error in FBR website.
The portals of the FBR website have not been working since the attack, and citizens who file tax returns online are facing difficulties. The FBR acknowledged the cyber attack, saying that the cyber attack on the website could take up to six hours to restore.
It should be noted that cyber attack was also carried out on FBR websites in September. As a result of hacker attack, all government websites operated by FBR were shut down. As a result of the attack, physical supply chains were held up and even consignments of fresh vegetables are stuck at border stations.
After todays attack, consumers have also lost access to the active tax peer list. It should be noted that the FBR portal has been hacked many times before and it shows the role of Indian hackers.
