During the Arab Spring in 2011, the royal families of the Arab countries held 200 secret meetings with the British royal family in order to devise a strategy to avoid public protests in the Arab countries. The website Declassified UK reports that, in the last ten years, every fortnight, Arab royal families met with the British royal family.
