Federal Cabinet approves 26th Constitutional Amendment’s draft
The Federal Cabinet has approved the draft of the 26th Constitutional Amendment.
The cabinet met in Islamabad on Sunday with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in the chair.
Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar gave a detailed briefing on the 26th Constitutional Amendment.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif congratulated the entire nation on the approval of the 26th Constitutional Amendment by the cabinet.
He said the cabinet made the best decision in the broader national interest, upholding the oath of national development and public welfare.
He said a milestone has been achieved for the constitutional stability and rule of law in the country, after the stability of the national economy.
Shehbaz Sharif expressed the resolve to continue working hard for the development, prosperity, and stability of the country.
He also thanked the heads of the coalition parties.
The Prime Minister appreciated efforts of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Minister of Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar, Minister of Interior Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Advisor to the Prime Minister Rana Sanaullah, and Minister of Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar.
