Federal cabinet approves the appointment of CEO PIA

ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the Federal Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has approved the appointment of Arshad Malik as the Chief Executive (CEO) of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA). According to details,  the agenda of the meeting includes discussion on suspicious licenses issued by CAA and cabinet will also decide about fate of these pilots as well as the political, economic and coronavirus situation in the country. The federal cabinet approved the appointment of Arshad Malik as the CEO of PIA and decided that Arshad Malik will serve as the chief executive of PIA even after his retirement on July 12, 2020. According to the details, Arshad Malik has been appointed as the chief executive of PIA for 3 years.
