Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid visits South Balochistan

According to details, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid on the occasion of his visit to Balochistan on Friday, February 19, was inspected by FC for aerial inspection of 928 km Pak-Iran border. Appreciated the efforts of FC Balochistan South in doing so. He was further informed that the fence work was in progress and the remaining areas would be completed on time. Sealing the borders not only prevented the illegal movement of miscreants

It will be possible, but it will also help in the security of South Balochistan.Commenting on the past neglect and deprivation of this part of the country, the Home Minister said that the recent visit of the Prime Minister has drawn the attention of the government to this part of the country and aims to provide all basic amenities to the local population. The Home Minister further directed the establishment of Passport Offices in Washik District as well as the remote cities of Prom, Hoshab, Chedgi, Balangur and Taftan.
He also approved the provision of NADRA facilities which would establish a state writ in the region.
During the visit, the Home Minister also visited the Border Crossing Points at Taftan and Redig.

The Border Belt Area is a viable option for the local people to create a border market, promote trade and further strengthen the friendship with Iran, on which the present government is taking practical steps. A master plan for Taftan was also presented to better manage the movement of pilgrims to Iran and to ensure safety and security along the way.
He was also informed about the Line Skill Development Program which he appreciated very much.

The Home Minister also lauded the initiatives of FC Balochistan South in promoting agriculture, debt processing plant, cattle deer farm, online education and recruitment of local people in FC to the local population and said that the government of South Balochistan should provide basic health and education to the people of South Balochistan. The Home Minister will also take concrete steps to provide facilities
After that he left for Quetta and assured that the visits of the members of the federal cabinet would continue.
