Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar addressed a Gathering

February 14, 2021: Asad Umer, the Federal Minister for Planning addressed a gathering in Karachi and discussed domestic issues being faced by the populace in Sindh and especially Karachi.

He said, “A great need of the citizens of Karachi is going to be met in the form of fire tenders.” He praised the trade association help model and he also said it is unfortunate that KMC does not have money even for diesel. Recalling a previous occasion, he said, “We took some supplies to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital during Corona Lockdown, when I went there, I found out that the doctors had not even received their salaries for six months.” He said, “When the federal government started talking to the Sindh government, they asked them to give Karachi institutions to the people of Karachi.”
