Female footballer Sahar Zaman in a video message has urged the authorities to look into the issue concerning the recent ban on the Pakistan Football Federation by FIFA.
According to reports, Sahar Zaman who is a former student of Kinnaird college and is a part of Pakistan’s national team, has shared a video message in which she has raised concerns regarding the recent ban on Pakistan.
Zaman has argued that the ban means an isolation of Pakistani players in international competitions, if Pakistan is further banned for five years. She stated that the decision affects players past, present and future.
Sahar Zaman further added, “This will be a grave injustice to the players who have devoted their entire lives to the sport for the representation of Pakistan”.
Concluding the video message, the young player stated, “At this point I really request, this is a humble request, to the people who are in control, to the people who can get a solution for this problem, who can in anyway save the future of Pakistan’s football. Please find a solution so, we can give our heart and soul for Pakistan, to represent our country in the international field.”
Sahar Zaman is a mix-fielder for the Pakistan Women Football. She is a two-time National Games Gold Medalist, and five-times National Women Football Gold Medalist.
