FIA arrests accused involved in child pornography
According to the report of Baaghi TV, Cyber Crime Circle of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Quetta arrested an accused Syed Hafiz Ahmad Jan Shah, on charges of involvment in child pornography. FIA Cyber Crime Circle raided today and arrested the accused Jan Shah, a resident of Staellite Town Quetta.
According to the FIA Cyber Crime Wing Balochistan, the accused was involved in possession of huge volumes of child pornographic content stored in Google Photos cloud storage. The digital devices have been successfully confiscated and sent to the Digital Forensic Lab for detailed analysis, said an FIA official. “Further investogations are underway”, he added.
The action was taken upon the report of National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). According to the officials, FIA conducted a nationwide crackdown on child pornography suspects. The aim is not only to ensure that the perpetrators of child pornography are prosecuted, but also to raise public awareness about this heinous crime, through nationl and international contacts. Punshing the culprits is also one of our topmost priorities, the officials remarked.

It may be recalled that DG (Director General) FIA Cyber Crime Wing Captain (retd), Muhammad Shoaib said that child pornography has become a lucrative business inPakistan. Various Non-Governmental Organizations are working to eradicate the crime and spread awareness regarding child pornography. Human Rights has also passed the Child Protection Bill (2018). The amendment bill to the Child Pornography Act states imprisonment up to 7 years.
