FIA Arrests People for Blackmailing Girls on WhatsApp

Lahore (2nd Aug, 2019): Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cyber Crime Cell has arrested four suspects who reportedly blackmailed girls on WhatsApp. 

According to reports of Baaghi TV, the Cyber Crime Unit of FIA has reportedly taken into custody four suspects who allegedly blackmailed girl by means of WhatsApp. According to a spokesperson for the department, the Cyber Crime Cell has arrested the four people on reports of blackmailing girls from different parts of Lahore.

The spokesperson further confirmed that the suspects were arrested during an operation that was carried out in Lahore. It was added that the suspects blackmailed girls by means of videos and other contact shared via WhatsApp.

Moreover, it has been confirmed by FIA’s spokesperson that action was taken against the culprits on the basis of complaints by parents of the girls. Reportedly the arrested include Haris Imran, Talha Zuhar, Fakhruddin and Abdul-Rauf.
