Islamabad August 10 (Online Int’l): The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has sought details regarding export of sugar to Afghanistan through Afghan Embassy in Pakistan.
An eleven-member team is investigating how sugar was being exported to Afghanistan in light of the Sugar Inquiry Commission’s report.
The Sugar Inquiry Commission Chairman in this regards has dispatched a letter to the Foreign Office Islamabad seeking details of sugar export to Afghanistan. The commission sought details of sugar export during 2014-15 and 2019-20. All the details are sought through Afghanistan’s Embassy in Pakistan.
The details have been sought in excel and hard copy. All the details will be shared through electronic email.
