Fight breaks out between KFC and Foodpanda riders

Lahore, 24th January: A fight broke out between the employees of KFC and Foodpanda riders upon late delivery of food. 

Baaghi TV: According to the reports, a fight broke out between KFC workers and riders of Foodpanda in Bahria Town, Phase 7, Rawalpindi.

The video of the clash that took place on Friday night and has since gone viral on social media, shows KFC employees breaking out of the barricaded door and engaging in a brawl with unidentified men before being beaten back into the outlet.

A clash broke out when a Foodpanda rider verbally abused KFC staff at the outlet after being told that his order had not been received.

According to the reports pouring in, the rider left and later returned with two others, who attacked the manager.

When onlookers intervened, the three riders left. They, however, came back with more associates, this time armed with batons and rods.

An FIR was registered on the complaint of the manager.

Reportedly, three KFC employees, Muhammad Younus, Muhammad Farooq and Ibtisam Jilani, were injured in the clash. They were taken to District Headquarters Hospital for first aid and discharged later.

An eyewitness said the restaurant staff made the Foodpanda rider to wait for 30 minutes. He reported the manager misbehaved with the rider when he asked about his order.
