Pakistan vs Australia: Finch Frustrated by Rain
SYDNEY (3rd Nov, 2019): Australia T20I captain, Aaron Finch has questioned the logic of a 20-minute innings-break in the rain-hit first T20I match against Pakistan.
According to details, a controversial timing issue and Sydney’s rain have left Aaron Finch’s fireworks in vain. He said, “If you are cutting overs off the game and you still have a 20 minute break it does not make sense to me. But it’s part of the rules and you can’t do much about it.”
While appreciating his team mates, he further added, “All boys did a great job, just a shame it was probably five minutes too late.”
Reportedly, rain saves Pakistan from a likely defeat in the rain-hit first T20I against Australia. While chasing a target of 119-run target in 15 overs, frustrated Australia were 41-0 after just 3.1 overs. Moreover, the showers were so heavy that the officials decided to call off the match.
