Lahore, 26th November: Firdous Ashiq Awan’s post as the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Punjab on Information and Culture is in jeopardy.
According to the Baaghi TV report, the petition filed against the appointment of Firdous Ashiq Awan as an advisor has been fixed for hearing.
Chief Justice Lahore High Court Justice Qasim Khan will hear the case on November 27. The federal government, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and Firdous Ashiq Awan have been made parties in the petition. ,
It may be mentioned that Firdous Ashiq Awan was appointed as Advisor to the Chief Minister of Punjab for Information in November 2020 in the place of Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan.
Firdous Ashiq was earlier appointed as the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Information but was removed from the post for some personal reasons.
