A fire has broke out at the Haramain Rail Station in Jeddah which connects to the cities of Makkah and Madinah.

According to sources, Col. Muhammad bin Usman al-Qarni, a spokesman for the Civil Defense in the Makkah Mukarramah region, said that the Joint Operations Center had received a report of a fire at 911 on Thursday evening.

According to the reports, it was told that fire broke out in the courtyard of Al-Harmain train station in Jeddah’s Al-Sulaymaniyah neighborhood.

 

Al-Qarni said, “rescue teams, including the fire brigade, were mobilized as soon as the fire was reported”, the courtyard is located in a circle of 20×60 and there were no casualties in the blaze.

Furthermore, the spokesman said that timely action was taken to limit the fire and prevent it from spreading to the surrounding areas, however, teams are continuing to put out the blaze.
