KARACHI: Head Coach of Pakistan cricket team Misbah ul Haq has stated that first odi match against Sri Lanka will be an emotional one for him.
According to details, Misbah ul Haq is getting emotional as cricket returns in Pakistan after such a long time. He said “Friday’s match will be an emotional moment for me as I played at the National Stadium when it last staged an ODI against Sri Lanka back in 2009. 10 years later, I am the head coach of the team.”
On the other hand, Captain of the team Sarfraz Ahmad said “Leading Pakistan in a bilateral ODI series in front of my home crowd will be one of the highlights of my career. I can’t wait for Friday and I hope when I walk out, I have a full house behind me, not only cheering me but both sides, History will be made on Friday when Karachi will host the 1st bilateral ODI series since January 2009.”
Reportedly, Pakistan will take on Sri Lanka in 3 ODI and 3 T20 match. ODI series will be played in Karachi and T20 series will be played in Lahore.
