First ODI between Pakistan and New Zealand delayed
The first One-Day International (ODI) match between Pakistan and New Zealand has been delayed but no reason has been given by the cricket board in this regard.
Cricket website ESPNcricinfo has stated that today’s match between Pakistan and New Zealand at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium has been delayed and players and support staff have been asked to stay at their hotel.
It should be noted that the match was scheduled to start at 2.30 pm today and the toss takes place about half an hour earlier before the players come to the ground. ESPNcricinfo made the following tweet, stating “Just in: The start of the first PAKvNZ ODI has been delayed. Players and support staff have been asked to stay in their hotel rooms.
