Lahore, 24th February: For the first time ever in the history of Pakistan a criminal trial has been ordered against a multinational company.
Baaghi TV: According to reports, Usman Bhatti accused the giant consumer conglomerate Nestle Pakistan of the death of his daughter.
As per reports from Baaghi TV, Bhatti accused Nestle that his daughter passed away after drinking their Lactogen powdered milk.
Court has ordered that there is sufficient material for a trial to start. The Model Town court has summoned the top officials of the company on March 9, declaring the police report on Nestle as false and baseless. ۔
Nestle MD will have to appear in court to face the criminal proceedings on 9th March 2021.
It is being hoped that police will submit a list of witnesses on time and not delay any further.
