Jan 11, 2022: Inclement weather in Lahore has affected the flight operation to and from Lahore airport.
Due to the adverse weather conditions in Lahore, PIA flights are expected to be delayed according to the airline representative.
Heavy fog in and around Lahore affected PIA flights to and from the provincial capital. Flight PK9759 from Lahore to Jeddah will be delayed as will Flight PK323 from Lahore to Quetta.
Flights are being delayed due to untimely arrival of planes due to heavy fog. The airline representative said PIA staff is present at the airport to take care of the passengers. Passengers on flights canceled due to fog are being accommodated on alternative flights the airline representative added.
Similar weather conditions are expected to hold in the coming days.
The airline says passengers are requested to get information about their desired flight before arrival at the airport. Due to the busy schedule at Lahore Airport, passengers are requested to make time for international and domestic flights to reach the airport.
The PIA Call Center at 111-786-786 has a dedicated staff around the clock to guide passengers according to the PIA spokesperson.
