LAHORE, July 24 (Online): The flour mill owners in Lahore has increased further Rs 2 in the flour prices, after which the price of flour per kg has reached to Rs 70.
Naan Roti Association has also indicated to go on strike after Eid, Rs 3 per kg was also increased in the flour prices earlier a few days by the flour mills owners in Lahore.
On the other hand, the matter between government and Naan Roti Association couldn’t be resolved. President Naan Roti Association Lahore Aftab Gul said that the price of wheat has exceeded to Rs 2, 300 per mann in the grain market, government has failed to reduce the prices. If this situation continues, we will go on strike after Eid.
It is pertinent to mention that prices of wheat flour has been increased Rs 5 per kg within 15 days.
