FM Qin Gang to pay a two-day official visit to Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang is scheduled to pay an official visit to Pakistan on Friday, at the invitation of Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
In a press release posted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website, on Wednesday it was stated that since assuming office, this will be State Councillor and Foreign Minister (FM) H.E. Qin Gang’s first official visit.

According to the Foreign Office Spokesperson, FM Qin Gang “would pay an official visit to Pakistan on 5 and 6 May 2023”.
During the visit, FM Zardari and Councillor Qin Gang will co-chair the 4th round of the Pakistan-China Strategic Dialogue.

The two sides will reaffirm the All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership as well as develop a “roadmap” for multi-dimensional cooperation between the friendly states. Furthermore, they will address the regional and global landscape. Previously, the countries held their 3rd round of Strategic Dialogue in July 2021, in Chengdu, China.
