Lahore, 19th May: Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has left for New York with the Palestinian Foreign Minister.
According to Baaghi TV’s report, Palestinian Foreign Minister Riaz al-Maliki called on Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Wednesday. The current situation in Palestine was discussed in the meeting.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi condemned the aggression of the Israeli army and attacks on the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi expressed deep sorrow and regret over the martyrdom of innocent Palestinians. Pakistan is committed to continuing to support the Palestinian people.
Earlier, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi arrived at the Presidential Palace and met President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
During the meeting, issues related to bilateral relations and the situation in Palestine were discussed. The Foreign Minister conveyed a message of good wishes from the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan to the Turkish President.
Later, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi left Turkey for New York. The Foreign Ministers of Palestine, Sudan and Turkey also accompanied Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
The Foreign Minister will attend the General Assembly session on Palestine on May 20.
Foreign Minister Qureshi said that the public reaction to the situation in Palestine is very encouraging worldwide.
