FM Qureshi meets KSA counterpart, discusses issues of Middle East.
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi held a meeting with his Saudi counterpart Ibrahim Al Assaf on Wednesday amid rising tension in Middle East.
According to the reports of Baaghitv, FM Qureshi is on a trip to Saudi Arabia to attend the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers Summit. Along with this summit , KSA is holding Gulf and Arab summits this week as well. The two Foreign Ministers discussed a range of subjects including bilateral political exchanges, intensified economic and financial interaction, and follow-up on the release of Pakistani prisoners on the sidelines of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers meeting in Jeddah.
FM Qureshi thanked the Saudi leadership for their steadfast support to Pakistan on a range of key issues. Saudi Arabia remains an active member of the OIC Contact Group on Jammu and Kashmir.
