KARACHI (10th Nov, 2019): Football legends Nicolas Anelka, Kaka, Luis Figo and Carles Puyol have arrived in Karachi.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, Nicolas Anelka, Kaka, Luis Figo and Carles Puyol have arrived in Karachi for an exhibition match. Carles Puyol said, “I am very happy to be here in Pakistan. I like to see the passion people have of football over here and I’m looking forward to playing in Karachi and Lahore.”
On the other hand, Nicolas Anelka has stated that there is a big potential of Football in Pakistan. He said, “Hopefully, there will be a big league in Pakistan. There’s big potential here so we are waiting for you to do something. People like us will come, try to coach and whatever that is possible to do, to get Pakistani football back on its feet”
Moreover, Nicolas Anelka claims that new generation in Pakistan likes football more than cricket. He said, “I think the new generation in Pakistan really likes football more than cricket now and we are here to promote this beautiful game.”
