Foreign investment surges by 48% in Pakistan

A significant increase of forty eight percent has been seen in foreign investment in Pakistan in the first quarter of current fiscal year, reflecting the effective strategies of Special Investment Facilitation Council.

China’s investment was 404 million dollars while Saudi Arabia’s investment was 1.8 million dollars.

The United Arab Emirates invested 25 million dollars, Hong Kong 98 million dollars, Britain 72 million dollars and the United States 28 million dollars.

Due to the efforts of SIFC, various countries are showing interest to invest in Pakistan.
