Former federal minister Chaudhry Ghulam Sarwar Khan was arrested by Islamabad police.
Police said that along with Ghulam Sarwar Khan, his son Mansoor Hayat Khan and nephew Amar Siddique have also been arrested.
The trio were wanted in the May 9 arson attack and the attack on the judicial complex. A number of cases have been registered against the accused in Islamabad, Taxila and Rawalpindi.
The accused would be produced in the local court or transferred to Rawalpindi.
