Former Captain Appointed as Head Coach for Pakistan

Lahore (21st Aug, 2019): Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) appoints Misbah-ul-Haq as Head Coach for cricket team. 

According to reports of Baaghi TV, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to appoint former team captain, Misbah-ul-Haq to be the next head coach for the national team.

As per details, Misbah-ul-Haq was offered the chance to perform the role of coach and chief selector however, he has only agreed to take up the position of head coach. Moreover, PCB is now looking to appoint former captain Rashid Latif as the chief selector alongside Misbah-ul-Haq.

Additionally, it is to be noted that contracts for former head coach Mickey Arthur as well as other coaching staff have reportedly not been extended as they failed to qualify for the semifinals in the ICC Cricket World Cup earlier in 2019.
