Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson has said that he feels very lonely after leaving boxing. “I am now trying to live my life in humility”, he said.
He expressed these views in the recent episode of Sugar Ray Leonard’s podcast “Hot Box In”, Mike Tyson cried while describing his condition in the program.
Answering a question, the former heavyweight boxing champion said, “I know the art of fighting inside the ring. I know how to fight because I’ve read about it.” Mike Tyson was disqualified from boxing in 1997 for biting the right ear of his rival Evander Hollyfield during a bout.
Mike Tyson was an obsessive boxer of his time. At the age of 20, he set a new record by winning the World Heavyweight title of the World Boxing Council, World Boxing Association and International Boxing Federation.
Throughout his career, he competed in 58 events. He won 50 of them, lost 6 and drew 2 and knocking out rivals in 44 matches.
