Karachi, 23rd November: Former President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari’s health has deteriorated just a day before the court appearance.
According to the report of Baaghi TV, in the suspicious transaction case of Rs 8 billion in the Islamabad High Court, former President Asif Ali Zardari has filed an application for exemption from a court appearance.
There are reports that former president Asif Ali Zardari’s health deteriorated again and he was admitted to Karachi Zia-ud-Din Hospital.
The petition filed in the court said that the former president was discharged from Karachi hospital on October 11and got re-admitted in November.
Asif Zardari has filed a bail application in the Islamabad High Court through a lawyer. Former President Asif Ali Zardari’s bail application is scheduled to be heard in the Islamabad High Court tomorrow.
The petition said that on October 11, former President Asif Ali Zardari was discharged from Karachi Hospital. Asif Ali Zardari has requested for exemption from attendance on medical grounds. Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani will hear the petition and reports are also attached.
Former President and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, his sister Faryal Talpur and major business partners are being investigated in connection with the 2015 fake accounts and fake transactions case.
