Lahore, 21st June: Former senator of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP), Usman Kakar passed away in Karachi.

According to reports, Usman Kakar passed away in a private hospital in Karachi on Monday.

As per reports, he fell in his house on Thursday and suffered a serious brain injury. He had head surgery at a hospital in Quetta, after which he was shifted to Karachi’s private hospital.

According to sources, Kakar was rushed to Karachi via an air ambulance after he suffered a brain hemorrhage. Due to severe head injury and trauma, doctors placed him on a ventilator.

His family reported that he breathed his last today at the age of 60. His supporters and party workers all stood in solidarity with him outside Karachi’s hospital.

Notable personalities have expressed their grief at the demise of KP’s leader. PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz and PDM Chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman offered prayers at the death of the leader.

Former President Asif Ali Zardari also expressed condolences at the demise of Usman Kakar.

 

Usman Kakar was born in 1961 in Muslim Bagh, Killa Saifullah District. He joined Milli Awami Party (MAP0 in 1996. In 2015, he was elected to the Senate of Pakistan as a candidate for KPMAP.
