Freedom struggle against enslavement through external conspiracy begins today: Imran Khan

Apr 10, 2022: According to reports, the former Prime Minister and Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that in the struggle for independence against external conspiracy today is the starting point.

Tweeting on a social networking site, former Prime Minister Imran Khan said that while Pakistan became an independent state in 1947, the change of power was the starting point for a renewed struggle for independence against an external conspiracy.

The former prime minister said that it is the people of a country who protect and defend their sovereignty and democracy.

It may be recalled that Imran Khan, after being the Prime Minister for 3 years and 8 months, was removed from his post last night as a result of no-confidence motion and thus he became the first Prime Minister in the history of Pakistan to go home through no-confidence motion.

Yesterday, after refusing to vote on the no-confidence motion, Speaker Asad Qaiser resigned and handed over the house to Ayaz Sadiq, after which the proceedings of the meeting were adjourned under his chairmanship.

Meanwhile, 174 members voted in favor of the no-confidence motion. Deviant members of PTI did not cast their votes during the no-confidence motion while government members were not present in the National Assembly.

On the other hand, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced a nationwide protest against the recent political situation and PTI has called for a protest at all district headquarters tonight to spread its protest.
