French designer who designed uniforms for PIA dies

Baaghi TV: Leading French fashion designer Pierre Cardin has died at the age of 98. Cardin is known for designing uniforms for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) in the past.

According to foreign media reports, legendary designer Pierre Cardin, whose futuristic and stylish designs helped revolutionize fashion in the 1950’s and 60s, has died at the age of 98.
The family confirmed the news of his death. Carden died at Newell hospital near Paris.

“This is a very sad day for all of our families. Pierre Carden is no more. We are all proud of his hard work and the courage he has shown throughout his life,” they said in a statement.
Pierre Carden was born in Italy in 1922, but left Italy as a child and moved to France.
