Funeral prayer of martyred police constable offered in Islamabad

The funeral prayer of Islamabad Police Constable Abdul Hameed Shah, who succumbed to his injuries, was offered at D-Chowk in Islamabad on Sunday.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, and IG Islamabad Police also participated in the Nimaz-e-Janaza along with others.

Shaheed Constable Abdul Hameed was kidnapped and severely tortured by PTI protestors.

The dead body of Shaheed Abdul Hameed was dispatched to his native town Abbottabad after the funeral prayer.

He was performing his duties at Chungi Number 26 at G.T Road when he was attacked by miscreants and was badly tortured.

Shaheed Abdul Hameed Shah had joined the Islamabad Police in 1988 and was due to retire from his service after three months.
