According to the details, the Saudi Passport Department has said that the process of renewal of residence will not be done without paying the full fee of the family head and dependents of the head of the family.

A spokesman for the Saudi Passport Department said in a statement that the people were “misunderstood” and that their stay would not be extended without paying full fees to their families and dependents.

The Passport Department has also issued a regular chart to work out the modalities for collecting the fees due on the families of foreign workers.

It should be noted that foreign employees working in private companies have to pay a monthly fee to their family, parents, mother-in-law, father-in-law, driver and maid and this fee is taken a year in advance at the time of renewal of residence.
