Good News for Minorities: Sacred Heart Cathedral opened after five months

LAHORE: Sacred Heart Cathedral Church Regal Chowk was reopened for worship five months after the Corona epidemic subsided. According to reports, a wave of happiness has spread among the minorities after this decision.

Sacred Heart Cathedral Church Regal Square has been closed for worship for the past five months due to the Corona epidemic. The doors of the church were opened in the presence of scholars of different schools of thought. An interfaith collective prayer was also offered for the complete eradication of the corona virus.

Corona virus continues to rise in Balochistan again

Archbishop Sebastian Francis Shah, Chairman National Commission for Interfaith Dialogue, Bishop of Lahore Irfan Jamil, Chairman All Sects Ulema Board Maulana Muhammad Asim Makhdoom, Sardar Bishan Singh, Pastor Aminul Khokhar, Pastor Shahid Meraj, Hafiz Kazim Raza Naqvi, Qasim Ali Qasmi and Qari Khalid Mahmood also attended.

On the other hand, the death toll from the corona virus has risen to 2,180 in Punjab, 2,307 in Sindh, 1,236 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 173 in Islamabad, 138 in Balochistan, 59 in Azad Kashmir and 60 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
