Government suspends administration of Sputnik vaccine in Islamabad

The Federal Government has suspended the administration of the Sputnik vaccine at the Islamabad Diagnostic Center.

According to reports, Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) has suspended the administration of the Coronavirus vaccine, Sputnik, at the Islamabad Diagnostic Center and Shifa Intel.

DRAP has reportedly warned that the required temperature for the vaccine was not maintained due to which the quality and safety of the machine was undesirable. Following which, the vaccine administration has been suspended.
