Governor Sindh makes major announcement for residents of port city

Load shedding in Karachi, Governor Sindh reportedly gave great good news to the people of Karachi in the presence of PTI leader, Asad Umar.
According to the reports of Baaghi TV, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has said that he will solve the problems of Karachi.
Sindh Governor Imran Ismail said that efforts are being made to resolve the issue of power load shedding in Karachi. A meeting was convened today regarding load shedding. Reportedly, the issue of load shedding has been taken seriously on the directive of the Prime Minister, thereby, the ministers have come to Karachi today.
Federal Minister for Planning and Energy Asad Omar said that the biggest problem is electricity in Corona. NEPRA will decide who is responsible for unannounced load shedding. Three-quarters of Karachi will be provided uninterrupted power.
Asad Umar further said that power supply will be increased by 1300 MW in two years, 18% power will be added in Karachi next year, K Electric is owned by a private company, not Karachi, the federation can provide another 500 tons of furnace oil. Karachi’s pack demand is 3500 to 3600 megawatts. K Electric should work on a plan to put 2100 megawatts in the power system in 3 years.
It is to be noted that Prime Minister Imran Khan, taking notice of the load shedding in Karachi, has directed the Governor Sindh and other officials to make possible the solution of K-Electric and public issues.
Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, Federal Minister Asad Umar and Shehzad Qasim had a special meeting with the Prime Minister in which the situation of Corona in the province and other issues including K Electric were discussed.
Sources said that on this occasion, the Prime Minister directed the three personalities to meet the Electric administration soon and resolve load shedding and public issues.
