Govt announces the dates for exams and new academic session in 2021
Lahore, 29th January: The dates for secondary and higher school examination and the calendar for the new academic session in 2021 has been released.
Baaghi TV: According to reports, the government has announced that the new academic year will start on August 2, 2021.
The notification released by the government states that summer vacations in the year 2021 will be reduced to one month which will begin from July 2 and end on July 31.
The results will be announced on June 30.
It is to be noted that the educational institutes were closed under extended winter vacations owing to the second wave of COVID-19 in the country.
Earlier, Federal education Minister Shafqat Mahmood announced in a tweet about the commencement of the new academic year.
It is pertinent to mention that primary classes and universities across Pakistan are reopening from February 1. The students of all the educational institutions shall attend classes on alternative days with 50 per cent ratio on any single working day.
