Lahore, 7th April: The government has strongly reacted after the assembly members accompanied the PTI senator Jahangir Tareen to the court.
According to the report of Baaghi TV, the government has reacted to the fact that PTI MPAs accompanied Jahangir Tareen on the occasion of his court appearance on Wednesday.
The government said that the presence of the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Accountability Shehzad Akbar with Tareen to his court appearance has no significance.
Shehzad Akbar said that JWB has a 20% share in the country’s sugar production. He added that so far 10 FIRs have been registered against the sugar mafia.
JDW’s money laundering case is worth Rs 8 billion and the Sharif family’s money laundering case is worth Rs 25 billion.
Akbar said that PTI is a democratic party, which does not interfere in the legal matters of its members. Tareen will be questioned for his cases.
On the other hand, a list of PTI members who have contacts with Jahangir Tareen has been prepared.
According to a private TV channel, several members of the PTI Assembly have contacts with Jahangir Tareen and in this regard, the Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar will meet the Prime Minister in Islamabad today to take up this matter.
