Grant of Rs 5000 per month approved for actress Meera: Report

LAHORE, July 31 (Online): Stipend amounting to Rs 5000 per month has been approved for the renowned film actress Meera by the Lahore Arts Council.
As per media reports the financial assistance has been approved on the application from the actress Meera who will get Rs 5000 per month as assistance from any branch of Punjab Bank.
Actress Meera sent application to Lahore High Courts requesting for financial assistance owing to financial hardships.
Lahore Arts Council released funds for the needy artists and under this program a sum of Rs 5000 will be provided to every needy artist through Bank of Punjab.
