Gurmeet Bawa, legendary folk singer, dies at age 77

Gurmeet Bawa, the most legendary folk artist, passed on of delayed disease on Sunday at the age of 77 years old.

As indicated by the media reports, the vocalist inhaled her last breath at a nearby clinic in Amritsar on Sunday morning.

Gurmeet’s wellbeing disintegrated on Saturday night and was conceded to an Amritsar clinic.

She was known for her long ‘hek’ that she could hold for around 45 seconds. Gurmeet Bawa was one of the artists known for singing ‘Jugni’.

Recognitions began pouring in soon after the insight about her demise broke out.

Bollywood producer Imtiaz Ali took to Instagram and honored Bawa.

He shared a legacy video clasp of Bawa, singing Jugni, saying:

“The everlasting Jugni of Panjab, the unbelievable Gurmeet Bawa, the soul of #highwaythefilm proceeds with her heavenly excursion. Love, appreciation and regard to her. May she find happiness in the hereafter.”
