Hamza Shehbaz not to attend today’s PDM session, Maryam’s shocking announcement

Lahore, 16th March: PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz made such an announcement today that shocked the PML-N president.

According to the report of Baaghi TV, the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is holding an important meeting in Islamabad on Tuesday.

PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz and Maulana Fazlur Rehman have arrived to attend the PDM session.

As per reports, PML-N Federal Capital Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Secretary-General Anjum Aqeel Khan met Maryam Nawaz and other PDM leaders.

Mehmood Khan Achakzai, Akram Khan Durrani, Mian Iftikhar Hussain, Mir Kabir Shahi have also arrived to attend the meeting.

As per reports despite the PDM meeting being pre-arranged, PPP Chairman Bilawal Zardari has suddenly left Islamabad for Karachi, while former president Asif Zardari is also in Karachi. Both Bilawal and Zardari will attend the meeting via video link.

Maryam Nawaz and Nawaz Sharif will also attend the PDM meeting today but the leader of the Opposition in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz will not be present in the session today. 

According to sources, Hamza Shehbaz was not invited to attend the meeting. Reports tell that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif wants Hamza Shehbaz to stay away from PDM affairs and that is why Maryam Nawaz is working hard in PDM.

According to recent reports, PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz has left Lahore for Islamabad meeting.

 A journalist asked Maryam Nawaz on her way from Lahore to Islamabad if Hamza Shehbaz would lead the ‘Long March’ in case of her arrest. To which she replied, “No, no, in that case, Nawaz Sharif will lead from London again.”

It is clear now that Maryam Nawaz does not want Hamza to attend the PDM session at all and not to join the protest movement.

It is thought that Hamza Shehbaz will follow the policy set by his father and PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif, which will be contrary to Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz.

It has come into notice that all matters are decided by Maryam Nawaz. Nawaz Sharif does not consult anyone except Maryam in Pakistan but the decisions decided by Maryam are explained by Nawaz Sharif and the same applies to the party.
