Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader and son of former Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Hamza Shehbaz, addressed meeting in the absence of PML-N leader, Maryam Nawaz.
According to reports, a meeting of the PML-N parliamentary board was held under the chairmanship of PML-N leader, Hamza Shehbaz. During the meeting, by-elections of Khushab were discussed.
The meeting was attended by Pervez Rashid, Khurram Dastgir, Saad Rafique, Burjis Tahir, Rana Tanveer, and Ataullah Tarar. Moreover, the situation concerning the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM)was discussed.
The PML-N Parliamentary Board condemned the ‘anti-judicial’ statement made by Prime Minister Imran Khan. It was argued that PML-N leaders have always respected the national institutions.

During the meeting, Hamza Shehbaz said that due to inflation and poor economic policies of the Pakistan government, the public has been forced into unemployment and committing suicide, while, the Prime Minister looks the other way. Hamza Shehbaz added that if the PM would ever come out of Bani Gala he would get an idea of the inflation. The PML-N leader stated that with the platform of the PDM, the political parties would bring an end to the incompetence, corruption and irrational governance of the PTI government.
According to reports, PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz was unable to attend the meeting which has raised many questions. The are rumors of brewing internal-conflict within the PML-N.
