Haroon Noor Mohamed, a name synonymous with visionary leadership, humanitarian service, and international diplomacy, is once again walking the soil of his beloved homeland—Pakistan. With over 48 years of distinguished experience in global trade and social service, his return on an official invitation by the Government of Pakistan marks a significant moment of honor, reflection, and renewed commitment.

Born in south africa,at the age of 13 left for pakistan. Haroon’s academic foundation was laid at prestigious institutions such as Karachi Grammar School, St. Patrick’s College, and the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), where he earned his MBA between 1963 and 1976. His leadership potential was visible early in life when he was elected President of St. Patrick’s College (1971-72). That same passion for progress and development led to the creation of HNM International Pvt. Ltd in 1976—a pioneering enterprise in import and export that has since become a symbol of global trade cooperation and economic excellence.

Now based in Pretoria, South Africa, Haroon’s legacy extends far beyond business. A devoted humanitarian, he has stood shoulder to shoulder with the world’s most compassionate voices, including the late Abdul Sattar Edhi, during national crises such as the 2005 earthquake and the 2010 floods in Pakistan. His relentless commitment to serving humanity has earned him the admiration of leaders across the globe.

Among those who held him in high esteem was the late Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. She always regarded Haroon Noor Mohamed as a “Son of Pakistan,” recognizing his unparalleled contributions as a social coordinator and ambassador of humanitarian values. This deep, respectful bond with one of Pakistan’s most iconic leaders remains a testament to Haroon’s unwavering loyalty to his roots and his people.

Now, after a span of fifteen years, Haroon Noor Mohamed has returned to Lahore. His visit is marked by spiritual reflection and patriotic devotion. He visited Data Darbar, where he offered Fateha and prayed specifically for the security, prosperity, and well-being of Pakistan and its people. Deeply moved by his return, Haroon shared heartfelt sentiments:

“Pakistan is my motherland, the land of my ancestors. I have a deep love for this country and its people. Their safety, peace, and prosperity are close to my heart, and I continuously pray for their well-being.”

As someone who has lived abroad for decades, Haroon’s words resonate with a powerful truth: love for one’s homeland knows no distance or time. His visit is not only a return of a successful entrepreneur and humanitarian but also a symbolic homecoming of a son to the land that shaped him. Haroon Noor Mohamed is once again visiting his homeland at the request of the Government of Pakistan. During this visit, he has been holding meetings with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, senior government officials, and prominent social and political figures.

While staying in Lahore, he met with M A Tahir, the Chief Executive Officer of **Rescue Global Life**, and also visited the Lahore Expo Center. Meetings are also ongoing with senior government representatives, including Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi.

Now, in the final days of his visit to Pakistan, he is in Karachi, where he continues to meet with members of the Pakistan Peoples Party and leading business figures.
