On Sunday, Hezbollah launched several anti-tank missiles at IDF posts and the Israeli moshav Shtula in northern Israel, near the Lebanese border, as confirmed by the IDF. Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the missile launch, prompting the IDF to respond with artillery strikes directed at the source of the attack.
Throughout the day, the IDF continued to target locations in southern Lebanon following multiple incidents of anti-tank fire on Israeli military positions in the North.
Reports indicated that at least four civilians were injured in the attack on Shtula, with one man in his 40s tragically losing his life despite resuscitation efforts by Magen David Adom (MDA). MDA transported the other wounded civilians to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya for further medical care. Two additional men in their 40s were reported to be in moderate condition, according to MDA.
Later in the day, residents of northern border towns, including Menara, Malkia, Yiftach, Margaliot, and Ramot Naftali, were instructed to seek shelter due to fire directed at an IDF military post.
