ISLAMABAD: The bail application of Iman Mazari, daughter of former Minister Shireen Mazari, was heard in the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC). 

Raja Jawad Abbas, the duty judge of the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) heard the bail application and adjourned the hearing to August 28, without proceedings.

The court called for arguments on Iman Mazari’s request at the next hearing. It is pertinent to note that the hearing was conducted by the ATC’s duty judge due to Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain being on leave.

Earlier, an Islamabad court approved the bail application of Iman Zainab Mazari. The duty judge of District and Sessions Courts Islamabad, Judicial Magistrate Waqas Ahmed Raja, gave a safe decision on the bail application for Mazari. The court approved the bail application for Mazari, who was nominated in the case of terrorism and rebellion in institutions, and ordered her to submit a bail bond of 30,000.
