Hearing on Petition against Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi’s Nikah, adjourned 

A District and Sessions Court in Islamabad convened over the hearing of a complaint filed against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi after reports surfaced the couple had married during Bushra Bibi’s iddat from her previous marriage.  The hearing for the petition has been adjourned till April 28. According to Baaghi TV reports, the statement of the witness Mufti Saeed could not be recorded. The petitioner’s lawyer said that the witness had gone for Umrah so the court should set a future date. Senior Civil Judge Nasruminallah Baloch heard the complaint filed by Muhammad Hanif, against Imran Khan and his third wife, Bushra Bibi. In the petition, Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi, and the State have been made parties.
