The intensity of heat and load shedding in Punjab has made the students unwell. Parents have also started demanding closure of educational institutions again. In such a situation, Punjab Provincial Minister for Education Murad Raas said in a press conference Schools were reopened with difficulty, now two weeks later schools are going to be closed again due to heat. There have been holidays for a year, children will be examined and then summer vacations will be given.
Murad Ras said that all the records of teachers have been made online. Appointments of teachers are being made on merit through the portal. Billions of rupees were given as bribe for the transfer of teachers but we have eliminated bribery due to transfer portal. Now teachers can apply for vacations by phone. It should be noted that the duration of educational institutions was kept from eight to two but yesterday it was increased from seven to half past ten.
