Dozens of members of two Hindu families, who had migrated to India almost a year back, have now returned to Pakistan after facing much persecution and discriminatory attitude of Upper Hindu administration. This was followed by killings of 11 Hindus in India’s Jodhpur, Rajasthan, last month.
Talking to media upon their return in Ghotki, they said they had migrated to India a year ago thinking to have safe life and future, but contrary to their thoughts and hopes, things turned out to be quite negative. They revealed that the members of Upper Hindu caste had marginalized them to the extent that they were not even free to offer their worship in temples.
They revealed that the imprisoned population in Indian jails consisted of almost 70% of Muslims, while they too faced persecution under one pretext or another.
It is pertinent to mention here that on Aug 9, some 11 members of Hindu family who had migrated from Pakistan to India, were killed in suspicious manner in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
